"Hornbach Drive-In" opts for EPS profiles

A system as simple as it is successful with what McDonalds conquer the rest of the world for almost a quarter-century. Thereby, the Drive-In not only works for Big Macs, fries and the like, as the DIY superstore chain Hornbach proves every day. Yes, this is no printing error: instead of milkshakes and cheeseburgers, one can come to the new branch in Hamburg to get among other things “wood to go”. And this is the way it functions: customers drive right up to the shelves in their trucks or passenger cars, enabling them to load heavy or bulky goods right then and there. Help is also at hand, if required, of course.

The innovative concept pioneered within the DIY store industry by Hornbach in 2003 saves time and ensures comfort . That such an innovative family business should now also opt for cutting-edge and high-quality products where advertising technology is concerned hence comes as no surprise. And that the technology of choice should in this case be EPS tension technology is just as logical. The project leader in charge of the advertising installation, Clemens Schrod from IP Image Partner GmbH located in Buch near Munich, explains: „There are various options available for placing a product or advertising message centre stage. We decided in favour of the tensioning technology offered by EPS. The image used and the message are right in the foreground, while the frame is hardly visible to the viewer“.

The company IP Image Partner specializes in large-format digital prints. But their large range of services also includes the production of various displays, as well as installation technologies, and the installation itself. For Hornbach, the company relied on the EPS.CRYSTAL profile system for the exterior as well as the interior area. Without incurring great installation expenses, this ensured the creation of extensive advertising spaces in Hamburg and Ludwigsburg to serve as perfect POS designs - attractive, unique, and equipped with that special aura.
