Large and apparently weightless
Farsighted advertising with EPS.LUMI corner profile
Large and apparently weightless floats the glowing red ring at a dizzy height and brings the core competence of Brück Rohrverbindungen in Hilden to a T. The worldwide acting specialist for forged and seamless hot rolled rings, flanges and special forged objects is one of the leading companies in these areas.
When new machinery has been purchased for the mechanical processing of forged and pipe connection elements at the sales branch, the existing space wasn´t enough anymore. "For this, we need additional space, so we have extended the production facilities, office and social spaces by 600 square metres," explains Andreas Lassen, the managing director. Thereby, the outstanding part of the new gained facade area was used for a clever advertising by the forge specialist: An image of a forged ring is tensioned over the entire top floor as a farsighted guide and landmark to lead the customer save to the destination.
Without affecting the functionality of the windows behind negatively, Reklame Rudolph realised a remarkable construction by using the EPS.LUMI corner profile. The unlit and around the corner mounted display (width x height: 13000/6500 x 3300 mm) offers the frame for the white high-performance net grid fabric, which was digitally printed on one side. The substructure made of galvanised steel consoles was inserted into the facade by using threaded bars intervals. The steel consoles were constructed in such a way that the tensioned fabric area was capable of resisting the wind pressure and suction thanks to the appropriate development of tensile forces. "We are more than happy with the appearance and the technical execution of the project. The ease of replacing the motif and the durability of the tensioned material with regard to wind pressure is particularly impressive," said Andreas Lassen who had the recommendation for the EPS profiles from his architect.
