Glowing over logistic centre -
A landmark especially at night
The Roman goddess Justitia once held them in her hand. Scales, the symbol of justice and balance. For the traditional company Reichwald + Co in Siegen, this ancient symbol is more up-to-date than ever - and part of the company philosophy. This motive represented what is now Reichwald + Co. as a company logo as far back as 1804. However, at that time the tinsmith Johann Georg Reichwald was engaged in producing household goods. From that small smithy a large wholesaling company with two main pillars has long since developed. Regardless of whether supplying steel or retailing heating and sanitary items are involved, Reichwald + Co has became a household name for many customers - including those beyond the Siegerland.
To shine the right light on the newly built logistic centre in Siegen from outside too, a round light object from Rudolph Siegen GmbH was installed. This impressive object, with the "scales" motive of course, has a diameter of 2.5 metres and has been supplemented with LED lettering. Equipped with fluorescent lamps inside, it unfolds its full effects at night in particular. With the EPS.LUMI profile a backlit fabric has been stretched over the round light surface with a construction depth of 300 mm. This is illuminated across its whole area without interruptions and waves. The result is more than visible. Thomas Weyer, managing partner at Reichwald + Co, is also thrilled with the effect of the light: "We have managed to create a round advertising surface without panel edges or visible separating lines through EPSs tensioning technology. The object is simply perfect optically and the assembly was also carried out without any problems."
