"We have been working with EPS for many years. And even when the situation is a little more complex and demanding, the solutions that the company provides are always convincing", says Edgar Guth the director of the trade fair construction company genial5 in Cologne. You can see the enthusiasm written across his face. In particular, when his glance falls on the wave-formed floating ceiling panel he has implemented using EPS profiles.

A total of 240 square metres of enclosed space and a considerable own weight of 1.5 tonnes including the traverse constructions and lighting – these dimensions alone amaze observers of the ceiling panel. The dynamic looking construction was mounting over the trade fair stand of Gimborn an internationally active pet specialist from Emmerich am Rhein. The company had completely changed their Corporate Design to use a wave as the design element. This design guideline was to be appropriately reflected in the trade fair stand. The premiere of the stand was at the Interzoo in Nuremberg, an international trade fair for pet related products. Edgar Guth: "Over the trade fair stand we secured EPS.EASY profiles to a traverse construction at intervals of one metre. In between these, we hung sprinkler-suitable tulle fabric. The entire construction was then secured to the roof of the hall and appears to float as lightly as a feather."
The construction form in the centre of the trade fair stand has a wave shape to match the ceiling panel, continues Edgar Guth: The entire result is fantastic. The trade fair stand has been such a success with the client, the pet specialists Gimborn, that genial5 will be building all their trade fair stands throughout Germany. 80 percent of the clients served by genial5 are from abroad, the trade fair constructors are well-known in their industry for their extremely creative and unusual stand designs.
